Anger Management

 


When I’m being provoked or get angry, I’d just take a deep breath and walk away. Most often, I’ll go to my ‘reflection corner’ to calm down and have a cup of coffee. Of course, my day would be spoiled for the entire day and I’d just think that the other party has some form of mental issues. 😊

No Please No Peace

 


When you become a feared leader, you probably don’t have any real friends. People stick to you and try to please you because their lives and livelihoods depend on you. They really have no choice. It’s do or die!

When you become a leader at the highest level, you don’t really have to please anyone other than yourself. Nobody can touch or remove you even if you’re not liked by most below you! The worst is to be a leader in the middle. You have to please those above you and also those below you.

GRIT

 


As much as we have wanted to please ourselves first, this rarely happens. Often, we put ourselves at a low priority so as to ‘please’ someone who provides the means for us to put food on the table. Many people have little or no choice but to use this pragmatic survival skill called grit to tight over this very tough time with no end in sight.

Staying Mentally Strong

 


One way to improve mental health is to please yourself first. But this is easily said than done. Very often, you have to give up something or trade-in something in order to have some peace and calmness. This is not easy and everyone has to decide this on their own. Take care of oneself in order to take care of others. Especially so in this very tough time.

Mental illness can be a very serious problem. It’s best to talk to someone and to seek help early. Some people break down easily under pressure or setback. Some get depressed and lose interest in life. Time may be very tough at this moment as many things are stacked against us. Know the signs and take care of your own mental health and physical health.
