A Different Father's Day

The path ahead is a long and hard one.
Everyone needs grit, fortitude, determination and resilience to go through it. It’s the only way forward!

My job as an artist may be non-essential.
I hope my art could offer some comfort to those going through this hardship.
Wishing all fathers good health and well being in this gloomy Father’s Day.

Life is very challenging!

These days, my face is mostly 80% covered outdoor.
Yet, some acquaintances are still able to spot and identify me from a distance and call out my name. Damn!
Now I have to kill the idea of taking up jobs as Ah Long’s runner or prankster. Perhaps, it’s better to stick to the job as an artist. But according to a recent survey, artist is the top non-essential job. Damn!

Still a long way to go

This invisible enemy really causes a lot of disruptions and for bringing the world down to its knees. Now everything on the planet has mostly stopped. Time is really tough! Big Brother said: “We have to be realistic and grit ourselves for more challenging time.”

Sportsmen and women are also affected badly. Some athletes here even have to do food delivery in order to survive. Many have to do whatever jobs one can find in order to put food on the table. Sports cannot continue on an empty stomach unless one has deep pockets or rich parents. Sigh!

No Sheep No Cotton

We have zero natural resources and can produce nothing from nothing. All our supplies have to depend on our friendships and have to come from international trade. During a crisis, everyone is fighting for their own survival. We hope our friends could support us in this difficult time. Even if we are now just starting to grow our own food supplies, they would never be enough to feed the entire population. With supply and demand forces at work, re-supplies are disrupted and cost of essential goods keeps going up.  Everyone now has to tighten own belt in this tough time as our Big Bro’s assistance can last only for short term. No sheep no cotton.
