Please solve your own problems!

It’s a no-brainer to pass your own problems to others. Out of sight means out of mind. It’s no longer my problems like waste exports.

Unless and until one recognizes and acknowledges the problem and owns it, it would never be resolved.

Now that the WUHAN 2019-nCoV is spreading in many countries like wild fire, there is little doubt that every country has no choice but to solve their own problem because there isn’t anyone to pass the problem to.

Please solve your own problems before they become my problems! My problem now is to find the face mask. Sigh!

Happy Lunar New Year

Every 12^th year, I’m reminded that life is a series of rat races. You finished one race and then you start on another.  

Some people were fortunate to have had exited the mad rat race. I salute them!

I still dream of exiting the rat race one day.  

If you’re still in the race like me, push on and please “add more fuel” 加油! to speed up your journey. Go ahead and don’t wait for me. I’m falling far behind because my fuel-tank is already empty and my knee-joints are starting to feel the pain. Sigh!

Always Think Ahead!

“What you choose to do or not do today, would affect you tomorrow.”

Honestly, I realized this wisdom too late.  

It’s quite straight forward and simple to understand.

Some leaders just have to say it in a complex manner to show their superiority.

My own reflection: I did not do many right things yesterday. So I have to face the consequences today.

Sigh!  

Bracing For Tougher Time Ahead!

It’s not about whether we can get the $5000-jobs, $7000-jobs or $10,000-jobs. The fact is there is none left as many PMET jobs have all been taken by FT. The big question is what ‘special skill sets these FTs have and locals don’t. How come it’s so easy for them to be here with their families and parents and crowd out our tiny island? 

Our ‘Big Bro & Big Sister’ refused to produce any real data on this topic when asked because the truth is probably sombre. 

When the going gets tough, the tough needs some motivators to keep going in our harsh, competitive and high-living-cost environment. Just bite the bullet!
